People who live at The Lofts at New Roc, love The
Lofts at New Roc. Here's what they have to say.
Peter Schmitz
"We were pleasantly surprised at how living at
the lofts is like living with an extended family.
Everyone is willing to lend a helping hand to their
neighbors. We have really enjoyed the Lofts
community-so much so that we purchased a
second apartment to make our home even
larger. We are also really excited about the up-and-coming area and all of the wonderful stores
and restaurants that we frequent. The building is
beautiful inside and out, with wonderful views from
the rooftop garden. The proximity to major highways, public transportation, NYC, and Long Island
makes this community a great location."
Peter Schmitz
"I definitely needed more space, and I felt like I'd
never be able to buy anything in the city that has
as much space as I have now. My brother lives in
New Rochelle and I'm familiar with the community,
plus I really love the look and feel of this building.
There's also a great cross-section of people
living here and everyone is very friendly. It's a
great place to live."
Stephanie Gold
"During the early years of medical school I lived in
upper Manhattan and commuted to the Bronx. While
access to the subway and the many
amenities of downtown Manhattan were an attractive
benefit of this location, in retrospect the pain associated with Manhattan living far outweighed the benefits.
The building is peaceful and quiet, yet a loud, exciting
Hollywood movie is an elevator ride away. In the summer months I can come home from the
hospital, workout and then watch the sunset from
the rooftop garden while catching up on my reading.
However, should a night in Manhattan call, I
can be on the train in minutes and anywhere on the
island in under an hour.
For me it has become the best of both worlds."
Richard Zampolin
"It's a brand new building and had everything
we wanted — a pool, outdoor terrace, community
room, and central location. The roof terrace is really great in the warm weather with beautiful views
of the Long Island Sound. Everyone here is really
nice and we've all gotten to know each other. It's
like a family here."
